Through Williams County, Ohio

May 3, 2011

So, yesterday, I received my subscriber’s copy and contributor’s copy of NANOFiction 4.2. For those of you who don’t know (read: most everyone) NANOFiction is a terrific literary journal that publishes extremely short fiction pieces. And in this issue, is the first piece of writing I’ve ever had published by a reputable journal. Hooray!

The piece is called Through Williams County, Ohio, and I’m pretty pleased with it. Here are a few interesting facts about my publication in this issue:

  1. I have the shortest bio in the issue, probably due to the fact that it’s my first publication.
  2. My piece is published on page 42, which is one of The Numbers from Lost. I do not believe this is a coincidence.
  3. 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. Again, probably not a coincidence.

That’s about it for now.
